My Sanity Bag

Ok, you might be wondering what the hell this bag does for me so let me explain. This is the bag I use at home. I can hear you saying, “Wha?!!” Anyways, I really do use a bag at home. It keeps me sane and a little less tired. It houses my 3 phones (Yes, I have 3 cellphones), the cordless phone, the Freestyle pump motor and handsfree kit (Oh, yeah, it is the Freestyle tote bag!), digital camera, wallet, comb, lip balm, ballpen and alcohol.

I know it’s strange that I’m dragging all of these stuff whichever room I’m in the house. It’s all because of one thing: I use them all the time. With the mess I have at home, I don’t like running around in circles looking for it or going back to another room if I left it there. It is so much easier this way. The house doesn’t have a second floor but for those Moms who have one, I think this will help you a lot. How would you like it if your phone is ringing and it is in another room and you are holding a kid? It’s annoying, right?

Also, Jack Jack likes to play with the cellphone/cordless phone and everytime he lets go of it, it’s either under a table or in between the bed corner and wall. I don’t enjoy looking around for them. Having it inside a bag keeps it away from him and being broken by him.

I chose to use the Freestyle tote bag because it’s got great room inside and lots of pockets! You may opt to use another bag if you wish. Just make sure you are comfortable with them.

When we go out, I would either add items from the diaper bag or the other way around. This way, I don’t forget anything.

Add up some more items that you frequently use inside the house. It’s your bag, anyways!
